Higham Ferrers Sports Ground
May Be Taken Over by Another Concern
We learn that negotiations have been opened between Higham Town Sports Ltd., and another body in the town with a view to the company's ground and other assets being taken over from the present directors and shareholders.
In spite of very great efforts which have been made by the directors, members, and lady supporters of the sports club, which is an adjunct of the company, it has long been felt that the development of the excellent sports ground for bowls, tennis, and other games, as well as keeping the Town Football Club on a sound basis, is almost too much for the workers, enthusiastic as they all are.
