Raunds Wesleyan Scholars at Lilford Hall
By kind permission of Lord and Lady Lilford, the annual treat of the Raunds Wesleyan Sunday School was held on Saturday in the grounds of Lilford Hall.

The party, numbering upwards of 300, made the journey by motor ’buses supplied by messrs Bagshaw’s (Kettering) and Seamarks (Higham Ferrers). Tea was served in the Park, and cricket and other games were enjoyed, and under the conductorship of members of the estate staff the party were shown round the gardens and aviaries. The band of the Raunds Wesleyan Boys’ Brigade gave selections.

The whole of the arrangements were most efficiently carried out by Messrs A Hazeldine, F Lawrence, V H Sykes, M.A., Miss E Coles and Miss M Sanders.
