STANWICK - AN Organ Recital was given on Wednesday at the Church by the Rev. Greville Cooke, M.A., Mus. Bac., A.R.A.M., a good number attending. Mrs. E. Stanton, vocal soloist, sang very effectively "There is a green hill" and "The better land." The organ selections included the following: “Have you seen the white lily grow?" "Gentle maiden," "Londonderry Air," "Bushes and briars," "Fugue in E flat" (Bach), "Prelude in F minor" (Bach), "Overture" ("Messiah" Handel), "Spanish dance" and "Toccato." A silver collection for the organ fund realised £3 8s. 9d.
