Private Frank Horace Robinson
7th Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment
In 1901 Frank Horace Robinson, aged 6, was living at 5 Denford Road, Ringstead. He enlisted in 1916, joined the 28th Battalion Royal Fusiliers 11402, and in France he was wounded. Sometime later he served with the 7th Battalion The Queen's 14941 and was captured and transferred to a Prisoner of War camp in Langensalza, Germany.

Frank in later life
Frank returned to work in Rushden, as a shoehand, and married Clarice E. Baker on 31st July 1920 at St Mary's Church.
Vera May was baptised at St Mary's on 24th April 1921.
