Memorials inside the Chapel

The Wall hanging (above) was worked by Bertha Ellis, Karen Ellis and Pamela Dawkins in 2000.

Also on the wall in the chapel is a Cradle Roll listing those baptised in the Chapel.

A Sunday School had been run by Mrs. Smith, but closed when she left the village. It was reopened by Mr. W. H. Payne on 1st September 1924 and was under the Rushden and Thrapston Sunday School Union, but was closed again in May 1961.

During the 1930s there was a Boys Club and a Girls Club.

In WWII the schoolroom at the back of the chapel was used by the village school after their building was damaged in an air raid.

The chapel holds services on the first Sunday of each month at 11am, preceded by refeshments - visitors welcome. Celebration services (see notice board outside for details) are held in the afternoon, and various fund-raising events are held for its upkeep. (2009)
