Buses to and from Rushden and London were operated for many years by Birch Bros. - a top class service, that had a depot in Rushden.

The actual building came alive in 1937, but some 88 years later it was flattened.

Well, not all of it, because the iconic tower is to stay, and be part of the new lease of life. This is now preserved, and sits opposite Asda.
