John Mitchinson was the Electrical Department Manager from 1972-1986. He was formerly Chief Executive Officer at Irchester Co-op Society, prior to the merger with the Rushden Co-operative Society.

Moved further along High Street

Relocated to the old Flavell Hart Menswear Store (Now Lloyds TSB) in approx 1983.
The Bank facilities, heating and Hi-fi depts were upstairs. White Goods and TV's were downstairs.
