Rushden Industrial Co-operative Society
In the late 1960s Do-it-yourself or DIY became popular.
The Co-op always followed trends, and opened this shop.

In the doorway are the shop assistants, and on the pavement the
team of painters and decorators c1960s.
A caption came to us in 2024 :
The shop was next to Phillips drapery.....[100 High St]
