Hockney & Co.

In 1900 when Florence Emily Darby married Walter Brawn, she was head dressmaker with 10 girls working with her, at Hockney & Co.

When Hockney's closed their high street shop was taken over by F H Robertson until 1906, followed by Roe Brothers for the next 60 years. It was also used as a temporary home for Lloyds Bank in 1971, whilst the branch was refurbished.
