We have been unable to locate a photograph of Elm Street.

If anyone has one we would be pleased to copy it for this space.

Plans had been passed in 1889 for three new streets with 31 houses called Lime Street, Elm Street and Oak Street. This 1900 map was based on the 1888 map.

Only Elm Street is listed in 1910 valuations. Oak Street is top left of the map with the large building being Groome's factory, built in 1890, later Chapman's box factory.
