Lord George Sanger
THE WORLD'S GREATEST SHOWMAN
THE ORIGINAL SANGER,
Will visit Rushden
on Tuesday, October 12th 1897
For 50 years a London Theatrical and Circus Manager, and 60 years an Artist and Proprietor throughout the Provinces of the United Empire and the Continents of Europe and America.
(This World-Renowned Establishment is in no way connected with Lord Sanger or Lord John Sanger and Sons Limited)
The confidence confided in LORD GEORGE SANGER has risen his Establishment from the One Horse Penny Circus to the Largest Exhibition in the world, and proof of the public favour bestowed upon the reliable trading of the Proprietor and the patronage given, the resources of this World-famed Showman has extended, not only to the great travelling Exhibition, as announced, but LORD GEORGE SANGER'S ROYAL CIRCUS, EARL'S COURT, LONDON, that gave the Royal Diamond Jubilee Performance to 11,000 Children at the Royal Agricultural Hall, London, on Friday, June 11th 1897, his company being specially selected by the London School Board; and as there are three Circuses by the name of Sanger - and being the Original Sanger and Founder of the Circus by name of Sanger - will respectfully ask the Public to distinguish and remember the Name. If you ask for LORD GEORGE SANGER, THE ORIGINAL SANGER, you will not be deceived.
In celebration of the Record Reign of Her
Illustrious Majesty the Queen,
it has been determined by LORD GEORGE SANGER to effect two purposes, two great events at the same time, Sixty Years of uneqalled and glorious prosperity. Sixty Years has THE QUEEN reigned, and Sixty Years upon the Coronation Day of the present year has LORD GEORGE SANGER appeared before the Nations of Europe and America as a PERFORMER. It will be interesting for the Public to know at the time HER MAJESTY was receiving the high honours from the Bishops, Nobles and High Officials at Westminster Abbey, that LORD GEORGE SANGER at the precise time was performing his Equestrian and Acrobatics Feasts at the Fair in Hyde Park, London, for the first time. It was thought by the authorities that holding of a National Fair in the Park would have a tendency to clear the streets through which the Royal Procession would have to pass from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, and the large Exhibition which at the time frequented the provincial towns to hold their Annual Festivities, assembled in the Great Metropolis to assist in the Royal Hyde Park Fair.
THE QUEEN

HER MAJESTY
will receive in high and un-heard-of Magnificence the leading lights of the Empire, and most renowned men of her Colonies; at the same time LORD GEORGE SANGER has made special arrangements to receive all Classes of the Community, yes, from HER MAJESTY to the humble peasant, and with the greatest regard to what is most essential to Exhibitions where the Clergy, the Aristocracy, and the wives and families are catered for, nothing of an objectionable nature will form any item in this
