Chapman's Boot Shop This property was lost in the 1901 Fire that destroyed Cave's Shoe Factory which stood opposite the shop.

The name above the shop window is F Chapman Boot and Shoe Manufacturer.

A check in the 1901 census taken in April shows that Frank Chapman did not live at the property, so perhaps just a shop and works.

Nothing more is known of this firm.
