Shirley Road Works
In Shirley Road there was a garage facility where the lorries and vans would be serviced, and any repairs made.

To the left of the building was another bay, where a fuel tank was housed. When the tank was no longer needed it was removed and the bay was demolished.

Almost opposite the garage there was an office facility, to deal with the paperwork for the work carried out.

The offices were adjacent to the Westward Hotel, and there was an entrance door with window alongside. Some of the windows in the building had etched glass.
