We whose names are here unto subscribed having as wehope through grace given our selves to the Lord do judge it
our duties to give ourselves to each other by the will of God
to walk together in a visable Church state Laying the Foundation
upon the person office authority spirit and word of Christ and
through him and assistance from him We do solemly promis
and engage in his awfull presence and his holy angels in the presence
of proffesers and of the world to beare our Testimony against all
Idolitery superstition and all false wais and moads of the
ignrant world and all unsound professers by withdrawing from
them Walking in Christ as we have been hoped to put him on
standing up for him contending earnistly for the faith once delivered
to ye saints Jude ye 3 ver. We do also promise in this our Covenant
with Christ and each other to observe all the Laws and Ordenances
of his House  discharging all Relative duties in this or any
other Relation we stand in whatsoever. We do solemly engage con-
stantly to attend on the ministery of ye word Except hindred by sick-
ness or any lawful means and so frequent Church meetins to give
advice in cases of difficulty as in admonishing ofenders and in
casting out if need be governing with our Lord in his house to
keep it clein. Baptising and adding members upon a confecion that
they have Believed in Christ with all the hart and there conversation
answerable professing alegianc to Christ as their King & Law giver.
We do also judge ourselves bound in consience to have & to hold
Communion with other sister Churches of the same faith &
practis to Love the ministers and members of such Churches
as our one and to use the same methods to wards them in Love
when ofending as to wards our one in a way of Brotherly Reproof
det[er]mining to then act in the same manner to wards us holding a
corespondancy by messengers & letters as shall be thought most
expedient oning those whom God hath furnished with spirituall gifts
and ministearoll abilities whether Learned or unlearned in human
arts & siances. But if sister Churches any of them fall into errors in
doctrin or practis and after Brotherly admonition Reform not then to
declare to have no communion with them yet not to hate their persons.
We do solomly declare that we do love all & esteem them that love and
serve our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Though they differ from us in
som things we can hold conference with them Joyne in prayers heare
such preach that are sound in ye doctrings of ye Gospel But cannot sit
down in a full Communion though we Believe them to be & have the
esence of a gospel Church but not Reguler siting down at the Lords
Table with unbaptised persons which practis we Judge unwarrantable
from many good and substancial Reasons that may be given.
1.     Because we find no such ye evidence in all the word of God and we are Commanded to walk as we have ye Apostels and primitive
 Church for our ensamples .
 2.     Because we have no command to do so and we are to do nothingin ye worship of God without a command from god
 3.     Because we are expresly required to observe all things that the LordJesus Christ commanded
 4.     Because Jesus Christ hath conferd no dispencing power to any person Church or people in ye whole world to dispence with the neglect
 of any of his ordenances.
 5.     Because such a practis openeth a door to the loosing of this ordenance and by the same Rule we may dispence with one we may with
all while there is neither ordenances nor order lost in the Church.
 6.     Because the primitive saints were and we are to be of mind
 7.     Because this is the most likely way to preserve peaces & concordin the Church of Christ.
For these and many other Reasons we whose names aresubscribed have Covenanted to walk together in the felowshipe
of ye Gospel and to have our Testimony for truth.
