Intake 1963
It has been the policy at this school to stream the children into ‘A’ and ‘B’ classes immediately on entry to the school. This was done by means of an Arithmetic test, a Reading test and the recommendation of the teachers at the Infants School.
The children have not been streamed on entry; but ‘A’ and ‘B’ classes will be formed at the end of the firstt term. The staff were anxious to co-operate and feel that a great deal about ‘streaming’ will be known by the end of the term.
