Rushden Hospital had a cash bonus last week thanks to the efforts of local firm Linfood Cash 'n' Carry.

During a special one day celebration to mark the opening of Linfood's 100th store nationwide, the Rushden store collected £216 from raffles and sponsored events.

The money was handed over to the hospital's Colton children's ward for new equipment.
