1912 - A “comic costume” football match, was arranged by Mr. Stanley Howard (manager of the Royal Theatre, Rushden).
A Junior Commissionaire :
Joey Cox
This came undated, but named as Joey Cox. He was H J Cox, known as Joe, son of Rollie,
an entertainer known as Rolando.

Rollie Cox
Joe in HMS Pinafore in 1925. He was later known as Rollie Cox) like his father.


The Royal Variety Theatre
In the 1930s when cinema was at its peak.

Norman Kimber
Norman Kimber
Norman Kimber, manager at Royal Variety Theatre in the 1940s, was succeeded by Geoff Lilley, who was projectionist from 1950 until he became manager.
