| The Engagement of two well-known Rushdenites, now of Australia, is announced, viz., Mr. Ralph Burfield, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Burfield, late of 141 Queen-street, Rushden, to Miss Violet Wilson, of Melbourne, Victoria, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson, of 11 Oakley-road, Rushden. Miss Edith Wilson, of Wondai, Queensland, met her sister in Sydney, New South Wales, where they have been spending a most enjoyable time with Mr. and Mrs. Burfield, and have met many Rushden friends. |
