John Knight was born on 10^th November 1808, and baptised on the 9^th June 1825, at St Mary's Church, son of Thomas (b1780) and Ann.

His sisters Mary Anne aged 25 and Fanny aged 19, and brother James Sarjant aged 21, were all baptised on 18^th Jun 1837.

John Knight married Maria Linnitt on 24^th June 1829.

They had Clara in 1830, Edwin in 1832, Elizabeth was baptised 30^th March 1834, Adelaide baptised 29^th November 1835, and Fanny baptised 16^th February 1840. Jane was born in 1844, Fred in 1850 and John Thomas in 1851.

His mother Ann [possibly bp 8^th Sept 1774 d of James and Mary] died in the 1850s but her burial has not been found.

In 1861 his father Thomas was also living with them, and he died in 1865.

John died in 1880 aged 71, and Maria died in 1892.

John Linnitt married Elizabeth Fisher at St Mary’s Church, Rushden on 13 Sep 1808. He was a farmer.

Their daughter eldest daughter, Maria Linnitt was born at Naseby and baptized there on 27th April 1807.

John Fisher Linnitt son of John, a farmer, and Elizabeth was born 12 Sep 1810 and daughter Elizabeth was born 25 Mar 1813 and they were both baptised on 24 Sep 1821 at Rushden St Mary's Church.
