The funeral took place in the Congregational Churchyard, Flore, on Monday of Mr. John Badham, whose death occurred on February 21st. Deceased was born at Bristol as far back as 1823, and had lived during the reigns of five Sovereigns. He spent the first part of his life at Uxbridge, where he was a builder and contractor. Afterwards he removed to Rushden Hall, where he filled the position of estate manager and house carpenter, which he held for 40 years. At his retirement, some 18 years ago, he went to Flore and resided with Mr. F. Russell. |
