Mr. John George Bryant, who died at Balham, London, on March 3rd, aged 20 years, would not be known to many of us, as he was never really resident in Rushden. As the son of Mrs. Herbert Perkins, of 1, Midland-road, and husband of the lady formerly well-known to many as Miss Nellie Haynes, of Robinson Road, our cemetery was chosen to be his last resting-place, and Mr. Gill was called in to conduct the last sacred rites. All of us were moved to sorrow that on the threshold of life, with prospects of brightest happiness beckoning him on, our young friend should be thus mortally stricken; and with the wife and mother to whom the event means so very much we tender an assurance of our sincerest sympathy.
