Prize Drawing—On Saturday evening the Temperance Band, which is ever ready to assist in any good work, played several selections in different parts of the town in connection with the prize drawing arranged for the benefit of the widow and children of the late Samuel Denton, of Crabb-street.

Note: Samuel J Denton was buried 30^th March 1897 aged 39 in Rushden Cemetery Grave B296, in the area cleared to erect the Memorial Walls.
