Six weeks after the death of husband, Mrs. Emma Dixon, 87-years-old widow of Mr. Charles Dixon, died on November 23^rd at “West View,” Wellingborough-road, Rushden. She was a native of Kettering and had lived in Rushden 44 years.

The late Mr. Dixon was a noted sportsman, well-known at Kettering, and kept the Unicorn Inn, at Rushden, for several years.

A service was conducted at the home by the Rev. E. A. Green, and interment took place at the Kettering cemetery on Monday afternoon. [a list of mourners follows]
