Funeral of Mr. C. Green, Rushden

Members of the N.F.S. acted as bearers on Tuesday at the funeral of Mr. Claud Green of 38, Harborough Road, Rushden. Mr. Green, aged 83, was for over 50 years a member of the old Rushden Fire Brigade. Chief mourners at the service were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Frost (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. H. Salmon, Mrs. T. Frost, Mr. and Mrs. A. Coode, Mr. and Mrs. E. Fox, Mrs. F. Brittain, Mrs. H. Wilson and Mr. Hornsby (friends). Mr. Sparrow, Mr. Whiting and Mr. Britchford, of the Old Volunteer Fire Brigade, were also in attendance. |
