DEATH OF MR. PACKWOOD.—The death of Mr. George Packwood, eldest son of the late Mr. G. F. Packwood, who, it will be remembered, met with an accident while on his round, which terminated fatally on Feb. 18, is announced.

Upon the death of his father Mr. George Packwood (who was then a relieving officer stationed at Wellingborough) resigned his position as relieving officer, and went to live at Rushden, and was appointed registrar of births and deaths. In consequence of ill-health, however, he was obliged to take to his bed directly after his arrival, and he died on Monday last.
