The wedding was solemnised in St. Mary’s Church, Bottesford, near Grantham, yesterday week of Mr. Cyril McCarthy Pack, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pack, of The Homestead, Robinson-road, Rushden, to Miss Dorothy Ann Lovett, only daughter of the late Mr. T. C. Lovett and of Mrs Lovett, of The Lilacs, Bottesford. The Rector of Bottesford (the Rev. F. Walford) officiated. The bride, who was given away by her bother, Mr. Guy Lovett, wore a dress of ivory georgette trimmed with pearls, with a hat to match and French veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Adnitt (friend), and Miss Daybell (cousin), wearing dresses of powder blue suede georgette, with hats to match, were bridesmaids. They had bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums and wore rings, gifts of the bridegroom. Both bride and bridesmaids had silver shoes. Mr. Leslie Woodley was the best man. Mr. F. W. Carter played Mendelsshon's “Wedding March” as the couple left the church. A reception was held at The Lilacs, Mr. and Mrs. Pack leaving later for London, where the honeymoon is being spent; after which they will reside at Wharf-road, Higham Ferrers.
