| Harry Sinfield was born in 1887, son of Alfred (born Northampton 1857) and Naomi (born Rushden 1857). The family all worked in the shoe trade, and Alfred died in in February 1900, leaving Naomi to bring up the younger children. Naomi died in 1940 aged 84.
Harry married Ada Pinnock, daughter of Edward, at St Mary's Church in April 1907. Harry enlisted in December 1915, and was mobilised to the Liverpool Regiment as 95119 Private Harry Sinfield. He was transferred to the reserve on 26th March 1919.

Henry Elijah Smith married Emma Jane Ward in 1899 when he was 19 years old, and they were both from Earls Barton. Their daughter Dorothy Lilian was born on 16th February 1916 and she was baptised at St Peter's Church, Rushden, on 2nd April the same year.
Harry and Ada were living in North Street when their son, W Howard Sinfield, married Dorothy Lilian Smith in 1938, but soon Howard was called up. He served as 1815614 W/Bdr W H Sinfield. After the war Howard and Lilian lived in Pemberton Street. Howard had worked at Eaton & Co. Ltd. before the war and now returned there staying into the 1950s, and then sometime later worked at Tecnic.
