Webster - Bigley
Bandsman’s Wedding

At the Congregational Church, Harley-street, Bow, London, E, on Monday afternoon, a very pretty wedding took place, the contracting parties being Bandsman J. D. Webster, of the 17th County of London Regimental Band, and late of the famous Rushden Temperance Band, and Miss Millie Bigley, of 56 Oakley-road, Rushden. The bandsmen of the 17th Band were present in good numbers at the church and formed a guard of honour outside the edifice when the bride and bridegroom came out of the church, and gave them a very hearty send-off. A reception was held at the house of Mrs. Sonnicks, No.1 Harley-street, where the bride and bridegroom are staying for the week. The eight Rushden boys who are members of the 17th County of London Band were invited, with other friends, and spent a very enjoyable evening. Mr. E. A. Webster, brother of the bridegroom, undertook the duties of best man. The bride and bridegroom received many hearty congratulations from the band sergeants and other members, with whom the bridegroom is very popular.
