About 1960 Eaton's took over the factory of J Cave & Sons, in College Street. They remained here until the building was scheduled in 1984 for demolition in 1985, and then moved to the new unit on Sanders Lodge Industrial Estate.
The site was redeveloped as Budgens Superstore - now Wilkinson's Store.
