During my eighteen happy years at South End School, the first two as a class teacher, and the rest as Headteacher.
I saw tremendous changes.
The infant department was then three classes tacked onto the junior department in the old cramped building in High Street South.
In 1966 the departments divided, to form a Junior School in the new premises in Wymington Road, leaving the Infants School in the old building.
In 1973 we moved to a new purpose built building with every facility for providing a happy, healthy and busy infant community.
This it remains to the present day.
