A RUSHDEN airman, Mr. Raymond Malcolm Francis Bridgeford, was married recently to a Barnsley girl, Miss Muriel Evelyn Tyas. The ceremony at St. George's Church, Barnsley, was conducted by the Rev. D. K. Akehurst.
The bridegroom is the youngest son of Mrs. Emily Bridgeford, of 9, Tennyson Road, Rushden, and the late Mr. William Bridgeford, and the bride is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Tyas, of 80, Blenheim Road, Barnsley, Yorks.
The bride, who was given away by her father was attired in a cream Moygashel suit with brown accessories. Her spray was of red carnations.
The bride's sister, Miss Norma Tyas, was in attendance, dressed in blue with a feathered headdress. She carried a spray of pink carnations.
Mr. J. Tyas was best man, and the organist was Mr. A. Shaw.
After the reception, the couple left for Devon, the bride wearing a maroon costume with hat to match.
