Charles Chamberlain

Charles Chamberlain was born at Northampton in 1867. In 1886 he married Elizabeth Jane Cooke. They had two boys, Andrew Charles in 1889 and Harold Leo born 1891.

By 1911 the family had moved to Rushden and they were living at 18 Glassbrook Road. Charles was a sorter in the shoetrade.

In 1910 their son Andrew Charles advertised in Kelly's directory as 'Charles junior, cycle agent'. However by the time the 1911 census was taken Andrew Charles had left for Australia. [perhaps earlier?]
