Veteran Passes—One of Rushden’s oldest inhabitants, in the person of Mr. Eli Robinson (85) died on Friday last at his home, 60 Robert-street. Mr. Robinson was a native of the town, and had a ling connection with the boot industry, being associated for considerable periods with Messrs. Robinson Bros., of Robert-street, and the Allen Boot Co. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson passed away two years ago, and four sons survive—Messrs. Walter, George, Edward, Roland and Sidney Robinson.
